A full suit's gonna be about 2-3 yards of material and I got 8. The rest will go in my giant tubs of fur. I've got like 50-100 yards of just leftover fur sitting around. Maybe I'll find a matching color there.
The black fur is easy. Short black fur for the forearms and lower legs, as well as hands and feet, hair, and details around the face. Is one yard enough for that? Ehh, maybe, I've got tons of other black cuddle fur probably. The black faux silk is for the palms and fingers, as well as the delicate bits around the sheath and butt. "But wait, shouldn't that be blue?" Hard to say, auradogs have that weird kinda sumo jockstrap thing. You watch, I'm gonna end up staining my b-hole black.
The blue fur is a pain in the ass. Denim is basically the perfect color, and it's the only short blue fur in stock. Navy and royal blue for the longer fur? It ain't great, that's for sure. I don't like big chunks of single-color fur, so I am going to swirl them together in cool patterns that'll have to be hand-stitched and take weeks.
The camel fur's for Su's chest. Minky fur is an option but personally I think it looks a little weird in contrast with the other furs, so I got the Mongolian fur as well. And the silver spandex? That's going to be for Su's metal spikes.
Zippers? The ivory one will go down the side of his chest as the main suit access point. I've got a... oh oops, those should've been 2 black and 2 navy blue for the arms and legs. Well, I'll have to mix and match with the zippers I already have. But they're so I can zip/unzip the legs and swap with maybe some less stompy paws!
Fur total's $101, so we're up to $373.
