How about the ears?

 Auradogs have big ears. Really big ears. They're gonna be the better part of a foot tall - I'll aim for at least 8 inches. For an ordinary fursuit, I'd probably use thick wire for the outline and curved mylar for the shape.

BUT

these ears are gonna get slammed into a pillow. They're gonna be handles for overeager facefuckers. Wire is gonna get bent. Mylar is gonna get crushed.

I've got two thoughts for how I'm going to make Su's ears. One is cutting out a whole bunch of triangles from foam sheets and stacking them like a leaf spring. I can stitch the edges together to hold the shape, and it'll be resilient and SO much fun to squeeze. The other is making the ears out of stiff silicone. Oh man, that would be fun... but so heavy! And those things have to sit on top of my head. I'm probably going to go with foam. Ok, thanks for helping me think through it! UwU
