Ok UH I should have measured

 Surprising absolutely nobody, myself included, that muzzle is too big. It's too heavy and it doesn't fit the armature well. I'm actually going to have to plan this out instead of just winging it. UGH.

Naw, it's cool. I like planning. This will be fine. I've made a little diagram to scale in Photoshop, I can print 3-inch slices, then cut the foam accordingly.

Also, after taking some photos to get everything scaled right... my head is a fucking weird shape. I did NOT expect that 'cause I never see myself from the side.  

Did I mention I'm not much of an artist? It's true. This thing looks like a cross between a dog, a fox, and a cougar.
